How to be a 5050box SPONSOR:

1. Pick the ANGEL-video on http://5050box.com that introduced the organisation you would like to support or suggest an organisation you know.

2. Get in touch. Write an email to SPONSORMAIL with your 5050box choice. The number of the 5050box is enough.

3. Buy your 5050box. As a SPONSOR you agree to donate the same amount of money that you pay to 5050box to a charity organisation. The price for each 5050box is €100 + €25 for each second of your video. You can pay via Moneybookers, Paypal or a regular bank account. Both Moneybookers and Paypal accept credit cards.

Type in the length of your clip, check the total and press one of the buttons to buy a 5050box. You will get an invoice from 5050box for your tax office, of course.

4. After your purchase you will receive an email with both the URL where to upload your 5050box-submission and the contact information of the organisation you agreed to donate. As soon as 5050box got your submission your video will be encoded in the appropriate format, uploaded and can be seen by millions of web users.

When uploading your video please make sure that you provide 5050box with the best video quality available. 5050box would love to make a switch to HighDefinition-Videos (720p) and take advantage of the H.264 codec. Just because the videos can be watched online they do not need to look worse than normal TV (see difference here – 5050box | HD video).
The internet is a place for everyone including children. So please keep in mind that videos, images or links that contain heavy violence, offences, adult or illegal content of any kind will not be accepted. If 5050box does not accept your submission due to one of these reasons 5050box will refund the paid amount minus payment charges. In case your video is already online and violates any (third party) copyright your submission will be deleted – you will lose all your claims. Please read the small print underneath.

• 5050box is both the name of the company and the name of one of the (5050)boxes. So buying A 5050box does not mean to buy the website itself.
• A 5050box consists of an image, a video, a (company-)name, a message and a link.

• The minimum length of the 5050box video is one second. The video should be in english or with english subtitles.
• Links must start with http://.
• Videos and submitted links must not contain heavy violence, offences, adult content, illegal content of any kind. If your submission is rejected you will have the opportunity to provide 5050box with a different submission or get a refund minus payment charges.
• You must be the copyright owner or be authorized by the copyright owner for your submission. If your submission violates any copyright it will be deleted. In this case you will lose all your claims and will not get a refund. The same applies to censored and forbidden videos.
• Your submission will be online for one year starting with the day of first appearance on 5050box.com.
• Once your submission is accepted and published on 5050box.com, you cannot get a refund.
• Once your submission is published on 5050box.com you have two weeks to donate the agreed amount to the charity organisation. If the organisation does not receive your donation within these two weeks your submission will be deleted and you will not get a refund.
• Although not intended the site might be down occasionally for maintenance reasons. However, I will try to keep the downtime to a minimum.
• After ordering a 5050box I will contact you as soon as possible to provide you with both the upload link and information of the charity organisation you agreed to donate.

If you have a HD video that you think might be too large to send to 5050box this is the way to compress it.

1. Download Mediacoder on http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/dlfull.htm and install.
