Here you can suggest an organisation or person that should be helped!

When sending in suggestions please do not use nicknames as they will be ignored. I do not want to struggle with Super-, Bat- and Spider-man. Instead, I would rather contact Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne and Peter Parker. The reason to ask for your real life name is simple: If you want someone to be helped you might be the first superhero I will contact.

Introducing “your” organisation with a short video-clip is convincing — other people see your support. If you do not have a proper video-camera, just use a little pocket-camera in “super-movie”-mode or simply shoot your video with your mobile. And: Suggesting someone that needs help is a very easy and comfortable way to help. It does not hurt. Just do it. I am looking forward to your video!

How to be a 5050box ANGEL:

1. Make a video about a charity organisation you know and/or you would like to support.

2. Upload your video to YouTube.com. All I need to integrate it into 5050box now is the URL to the YouTube-page of your video. In case you do not have and want a YouTube account just send it to 5050box.com.

3. Get in touch. Write an email to ANGELMAIL with

  • your name.
  • the YouTube-link to your video.
  • a link to the organisation if available.
  • the GPS data to show the world where the money is needed.
    (See below if you need help to find the GPS data)
  • a few words about the organisation for a short description.


How to get the GPS data of a location:

Finding the GPS data to a specific location is also quite simple. All I need is the latitude and the longitude. There are several sites on the internet that will help you. I am sure you know maps.google.com (Google) or maps.live.com (Microsoft).

A very nice site is flashearth.com a site that displays maps from different map providers. Find the location of the charity organisation and click on “permanent link”. Your browser now shows you the permanent URL of the location. Copy the URL and paste it into your email to 5050box. Piece of cake, right?
